-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
                              DEMO2 VERSION 1.0
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

   What you should have before you play this game:

      * MegaZeux v2.51 or higher.
      * A SoundBlaster sound card is recommended.
         (Due to a bug in MZX, DO NOT use the SB16 driver!
          Use the SBPRO instead! The game wont look right
          in SB16 mode!)
      * Around 3 Megabytes of hard drive space.
      * A fast computer, around 90Mhz minimum. (No joke.)
      * Lots of spare time. (This is no short MZX game...)
      * For best playability, set the speed to 5.

   What this DEMO2 version offers of the full game:

      * 4 Weapons and 3 Shield Systems.
      * 6 of 9 different magic spells.
      * Every regular item. (There's 5 of 'em.)
      * 3 of 4 unique items.
      * Over 50 boards to travel and fight on!
      * 11 randomly fought enemies.
      * 3 big nasty bosses!
      * A tournament battle where you may face any 3 of 7 gladiators! Based
        on a leader-board system!
      * The sea-skidder. (Travel the open waters!)
      * Over 1 1/2 hours of play time! (Average...)

   What to expect when I complete this game:

      * 9 Weapons and 9 Shield Systems!
      * 9 different magic spells!
      * The last unique item.
      * Over 100 boards to travel and fight on!
      * Around 25 randomly fought enemies.
      * A total of 8 bosses, and then a HUGE final battle!
      * Another dimension? (You'll see...)
      * A bonus game called Planet Jumper built right in! This game lets you
        explore randomly generated planets for minerals while opponents try
        to do the same. The winner is the one with the most money!
      * Around THREE HOURS worth of gameplay! (Average...)

   Pay me money?

      You don't have to. When the full game is completed, I will release it
      for free on my website, and on mWorld, one of the best MegaZeux gaming
      sites in existance! (Or should I say, one of the few left...)

      Donations are gladly acepted. But, then again, you don't know where I
      live! HA HA HA!!! (Wait... is that a good thing, or a bad thing???)

   How the hell did you program THIS in MegaZeux 2.51?!

      Don't ask. It took over ten hours just to program the battle robots.
      It took another five to finish off the 17kb Global Robot. ONE enemy
      took on average 2 hours to program... aye... this was no easy task.

      As for variables, I don't use near as many as it appears. Weapons are
      handled by booleans, so are shields. The four unique items are also
      done by one variable. The CYCLES clock on the status menu is constantly
      being updated no mater where you are. It took awhile to figure out how
      to completely avoid the built-in messaging system!

   No PC speaker sound?

      Why bother? The battles are full of sound effects... that is, if you
      have a sound card. The fun WHOOSH of the windows is cool too.

   How do I fight?

      When you get into battle, you will see your opponent in front of you.
      When your energy bar hits full, you will be ready to attack. The enemy
      does not charge his energy while you are selecting menu items, so take
      as long as you need to.

      Your normal attack is simply a slash from your equiped blade. The damage
      is increased by your STR attribute.

      You can cast any of the nine magic spells in battle, assuming you have
      some of the spell you want to cast. Except for recharge, all spells will
      do damage to the enemy. The damage is increased by your INT attribute.

      Only the three basic items can be used in battle. Usually you shouldn't
      use MediPaks though, since they DO NOT recharge your shields!

      If you win a battle, your shields will be recharged, but if your HP
      took damage, it wont go back up.

   The battles are too slow!

      They will be at first. As you progress in the game, battles will get
      faster and faster. At an AGI of 20, you should be recharging in just a
      few seconds. At 50 AGI, it takes a mere 12 cycles to recharge!

   I don't get the magic system. How's it work?

      Basically, magic spells are like items. You have a quanity of them, and
      you have to find/purchase them. You get them from draw points which look
      like spinning energy. Some draw points are hidden though, which means
      the only way to know they're there are to LOOK for them. (LOOK = L key.)
      The best places to search for hidden draw points are corners and
      dead-ends. The spells found at a hidden draw point are generally high in
      quanity or very high quality.

   What do the items do?

      The MediPak restores your personal HP, the Smoke Bomb will let you escape
      from battle instantly, and the BoostPak will up your speed during battle
      a few notches.

      The two hard to find items are a bit different. An AttributePak will raise
      one of your attributes a few points, and an EnergiciumPak will give you a
      load of free experience points!

   I left the game running while I went to the bathroom and suddenly my cycle
   timer jumped a couple thousand! How do I pause???

      Simply hit the ENTER key to bring up the built in Megazeux Menu. Don't
      forget that this IS a Megazeux game!

   How high can the cycle timer go?

      999,999,999. If it manages to go that high, it will simply stop counting.

   Is the MZX file really 1.75 megabytes big?

      Close enough. Because the battles work on a series of robots that run
      in sequence in just one cycle, I had to copy those robots between every
      board. This in turn though allowed for some funky effects, at least,
      from a programming point-of-view. For example: If you fight Cyclone in
      the Trisona Warriors Tournament, he will do a PowerStrike attack every
      time you attack him with your blade 4 times. Another example: The boss,
      Destroyer-X, will use a BoostPak every time you do, and will only use
      his powerful SunBeams if you cast a magic spell!

   What's the password so I can edit it?

      Nice try. (No really, that IS the password! (Just kidding.))

   Where can I find the latest version of this game, and your other games?

      Go to "http://www.geocities.com/TimesSquare/Zone/2014". Yes, those
      capital leters are SUPPOSED to be there.

   Anything else?

      Yes. HAVE FUN PLAYING THIS GAME!!!
